Dena Drago announced that her grandson was born on November 2, 2022. He will need a surgery on his lungs at 4-months of age.

Janette Nowak recognized Carol Anders, Vickey Willard, and Phyllis Reidy for representing the Club at Meet the Breed at the Houston World Series of Dog Shows in July.
Ann Kutchka – at 7 months, Hunter has 11 points after competing in Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston.
Mendy Gleason – Kismet’s Blue Velvet was WB and RWB in Houston.
Mendy Gleason – at 7 months, Archie (Hunter’s brother), finished his Championship after competing in Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston.
Pat Dody – one of her breedings, now in California, finished her Championship and received two Best of Breeds.
Pat Dody – co-bred a litter with Nancy Rainosek, which has five show prospects.
Vickey Willard – 200 Collies were seized in Illinois, and she is working with the rescue group to get them to Houston.

Phyllis Reidy – at the Fort Bend KC on 4/9/22, CH ZZ Christmas Star (“Dazz”) was BOB for a major and earned his GCH under Judge Jacqueline Stacy. On 4/10/22 he was Select Dog and Best Owner Handled under Judge Ken Buxton and was then awarded a G2 in the NOHS Herding Group.
Phyllis Reidy – at the Fort Bend KC on 4/10/22, ZZ Darlin Maybe I’m Amazed (“Maybe”) was WB for a major and earned her CH under Judge Ken Buxton.
Donna Todd – at the SSCH Specialty, CH Breyston’s Dior Jadore’ (“Dori”) won Best Veterans Bitch at the 3/5/22 PM show under Judge Sulie Greendale-Paveza and at the 3/6/22 show under Judge Marjorie Tuff (Dori is co-owned with Pat Dody).
Donna Todd – at the Brazos Valley KC on 3/18/22, CH Breyston’s Dior Jadore’ (“Dori”) won BOS and Best Owner Handled to earn her GCH under Judge Brian Meyer and then was awarded a G3 in the NOHS Herding Group under Judge Cindy Meyer (Dori is co-owned with Pat Dody).

Donna Todd's CH Breyston's Dior Jadore' "Dori", co-owned with Pat Dody, won Select Bitch under Judge Charlotte J. Tull-Swinson in the morning show and Best Opposite under Judge Randall K. Sheets in the afternoon show at the AASSC Specialty on February 12, 2022. Dori is one point away from completing her GCH title.
Ann Kutchka has a new Sheltie puppy from Mendy Gleason. He is 9 weeks old and is keeping her busy. He gets along with her Collie, Brea.
Guy Mauldin expressed his pleasure about the Ian and Chivas puppies that did so well competing in the AASSC Specialty. New CH Grandview's Bella Karisma finished at the show on Saturday morning, February 12, 2022.
Mendy Gleason thanked the Club members for stepping up to help with the needs of Vegas, Zach and Rhythm (the Clemens' dogs rescued after it was discovered that Gary Clemens had passed away unexpectedly).
Carol and Chuck Bennett gave an update of Rhythm - he has gained weight and gets along with the other two Shelties. He is a happy dog. He barks less and loves his walks. Chuck is working on his stamina as after about 1/4 mile he slows down.
Julie McDermott mentioned that the AASSC had a donation jar for the Clemens dogs at their Specialty, collecting $30 for the cause.
